Township of Langley

In early 2013 the Township of Langley experienced a real estate boom. Observed as one of BC’s fastest growing cities, young families began to move to Langley with dreams of a more affordable place to live. Willoughby began to see an incredible transformation. Prior to this time, the area was sparse and offered little to no amenities for the growing community and housing options were limited. Willoughby Town Centre, a mixed-used community, would begin construction alongside townhome developments and the start of a multi-year community engagement plan. In order to understand the needs of the community, multiple community and business groups engaged our team to survey the surrounding areas and identify which retail and service offerings would best suit the neighbourhood. The community was then asked to vote for their favourite retail or service brand and the top brands were selected as tenants of Willoughby Town Centre. From here, Willoughby Town Centre continued to host community events in an effort to continue to offer a forum for local residents to voice their needs.
